1) The True Beauty Conference is for women of all ages, and appropriate for ages 12 and older. Can I bring my ten or eleven year old daughter? She is very mature for her age.
Answer: Those who have a daughter 11 ½ and who is mature, we are leaving the decision to the discretion of the mother. A girl just eleven years and younger is too young for most of the content. Not that it would violate her in any way but developmentally she is not quite ready. We have an alternate activity that is designed for younger girls called True Beauty Princess Parties. They are designed to be in the home with moms and pre-teen daughters. Please contact our True Beauty Consultant if you would like information on these parties at Lindsey@thelegacyinstitute.com
2) Is this event going to be geared toward professional, single women or even married women who don’t have daughters?
Answer: Yes. In fact, we are looking forward to having a very diverse group of women in attendance, all displaying the beauty of different ages, vocations, personalities and more! This event will be very professionally done, so you will feel comfortable bringing anyone.
3) I registered online. Do I need a ticket to gain admittance on April 24th?
Answer: No. When you registered online, you received an email confirmation. When you arrive the day of the event, your registration will be handled alphabetically. If you register as a group online, please send the full names of each participant to The Legacy Institute via email at Elisa@thelegacyinstitute.com or send a hard copy to The Legacy Institute, P.O. Box 82746 Kenmore, WA 98028. We encourage you to bring your youth group or women’s group!
4) I prefer to pay by check. How do I know my party is confirmed?
Answer: We are happy to accept checks by mail. Please send $29 per person to The Legacy Institute P.O. Box 82746 Kenmore, WA 98028. As soon as your check is processed, you will receive an email confirmation (or call if you don’t have an email account). Then when you arrive the day of the event, your registration will be handled alphabetically. Please send a list of the full name of each person you are paying for by check.
5) Is Tea by Elizabeth and Alexander considered lunch?
Answer: Yes, it will be wonderful!
6) The event looks lovely and I assume it is for women of all ages and their daughters. Will older women feel comfortable at this event?
Answer: Absolutely! True Beauty is a women’s conference that is inviting younger women to attend in part so they can see the biblical “World of Women” and all it has to offer. We truly believe the mandate set forth in Titus 2:3-5 that older women have an important role in the body of Christ to “teach what is good” to younger women. God’s Word has so much encouragement for young and old alike. We are counting on the older women of wisdom to be examples of grace and beauty to the younger women. We have a special time set aside to honor these women, and even have senior models in our fashion show! Please come and bring your daughter and granddaughter. We can’t wait to see you!
7) If I want my women’s group to attend together, can I collect their money instead of individually registering online?
Answer: Yes. You can register under one name online or send a check, but you will want to send their full names to us so they can be part of a special drawing. Send this information via email to Elisa Anderson at elisa@thelegacyinstitute.com or mail them with the check to The Legacy Institute P.O. Box 82746 Kenmore, WA 98028.
8) As a business owner, I’d love to connect with 400+ women in the area. Do you have sponsorship opportunities?
Answer: Yes! Don’t wait because this opportunity is going fast. Please contact Elisa Anderson at elisa@thelegacyinstitute.com or 425-941-1067 to obtain sponsorship information for as little as $150.
9) Is this a good event to bring my neighbor and/or my daughter’s friends from school? Will they feel comfortable if they don’t regularly attend church, for example?
Answer: Yes! In fact this would be a great opportunity to expose pre-Christian friends to the love of Jesus Christ in a non-threatening way. It will be an uplifting event for all who attend!
10) Is True Beauty sponsored by one church denomination?
Answer: No. The Legacy Institute serves various church denominations nationwide. Cedar Park Church is the host church, and we are so thankful for their support and excellent facilities. True Beauty is a regional event and there will be women from many churches and many cities in Washington attending.
