Princess Party FAQ

1. This event is for 6-8th grade but can my mature 5th grade daughter attend?
No, we believe this event needs to be age appropriate and elementary girls won’t likely be wearing makeup. We also see this as a girl rite of passage and something to look forward to.

2. The fee is $10 so what does that include?
The $10 fee per girl allows her mom to attend for free and she will experience the following:
  • Mini facial and age appropriate make-up tips and applications (includes products)
  • An encouraging message from Lindsey Abbott about how to be a true princess in all five aspects of her life (physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual)
  • Princess Rules mini journal

3. Does each girl's mother need to be in attendance?
Yes. If mom is not available, an official guardian or grandparent is fine. Remember, the point of this event is a mother/daughter experience to help moms connect to their daughters.

4. What should the host mom provide?
This should be a special event, so make arrangements with the other mothers to have:
  • A table with chairs for each of the girls and additional seating for mothers.
  • Princess themed napkins or other princess items which can be found at Dollar Tree or other party supply stores and a special atmosphere with tablecloths, candles and flowers.
  • Goodies such as cupcakes which are pink and cute!

5. How long is the event?
It will take 2-3 hours depending on how many girls you have.

6. What day is best to schedule?
Any day of the week is fine except Sunday mornings.  Saturday is likely one of the best, but youth group night or other evenings work fine.

7. How do we pay?
You can write a check the day of the event for the $10 fee per girl and you can use your credit card or write a check for any other items the day of the event.

8. Will there be other items available for moms to purchase for their daughters?
Yes, if you are interested there will be other skin care and make-up products and information on True-Pink t-shirts and other symbols such as necklaces and rings to commemorate your daughter’s special stage in her journey of purity.
