Elisa Anderson

Elisa is thrilled to be working as the Public Relations Specialist for The Legacy Institute and utilizing her gifts to educate and train schools and churches on how to implement Legacy resources, specifically The Relationships With Integrity curriculum. Elisa is a wonderful communicator and enjoys speaking to varied audiences. Elisa plays a key role at Legacy in the development of many resources as a contributing writer and a lead editor, and is involved with all Legacy events and promotion throughout the community and region. Elisa is well known for her fun loving personality and zeal for the truth. This impacts her ministry and life message daily!

Elisa’s varied roles recently allowed her to use her writing skills and love for the word of God to author Legacy’s young lady’s Bible Study on biblical femininity called, True Beauty.

Elisa has a long history of serving in her community including:

  • Leading and facilitating women and teens’ Bible studies and is a graduate of Bible Study Fellowship.
  • Teaching about relationships and sexuality to parents and teens for Life Choices’ SHARE program.  Elisa was a certified abstinence educator in public and private school settings and churches in the Seattle area for 10 years.
  • Teaching Sunday School at her local church and mentoring couples with her husband Chuck.
  • Volunteering at her children’s school on a regular basis and is a substitute teacher when needed.
  • Speaking at MOPS groups around the Puget Sound area.

Elisa is a graduate of the Honors Program at Washington State University with a B.A. in communications and minors in business and political science.  She then moved to Maui with her best friends and worked for American Express Travel for three years before coming back to Washington State. She has had extensive experience in the travel industry in sales management and marketing, earning the President’s Award for being the top producer for four years at Classic Custom Vacations. 

Elisa is married to Chuck, has three children, and lives in the Seattle area.

What Elisa Likes:
Being a wife and mother, sports, breaking a sweat during a workout, teaching truth, studying God’s Word, cheering for the Cougs, Lake Chelan, Maui, being close to God in the mountains, freshly picked apples, and dark chocolate.

 

What Elisa Dislikes:
Empty rhetoric, elitism, missing out on a coupon, pulling teeth, good-byes, poor sportsmanship, and bad grammar.
